God was Once a Fairy

 God was Once a Fairy:

God was once a fairy; They appeared to me under heavy eyes and tired soul. I had a pen in my hand, I recall it was a freezing November morning, when God, the fairy, and I wrote our first Epic. In our dance we wrote of a battle between those apple cheeked golden boys and the midnight moon painted deities. We wrote of anguish, we wrote of death, we wrote of dancingwe penned reality to a blank page. God, who appeared to me as a fairy, lest I say They became my Muses, I fear if I made such a claim, I’d take away from the glorious divinity that is rested upon my pen. That Epic tale gained a life of its own, God sprinkled a Heart and a Soul upon our song. Can your ears hear the wonderous canticle God and I made? Your soul should dance to the poetry of our pen, partly because I too dance when I write: can you see the rhythm in my words? Must all our words be contemplative, can they not simply be for dancing? God came to me as a fairy and we composed a glorious Epic, it has the making to heat a pyre, perhaps it will make a good fire starter. Fairy, why have I become so attached to all that you are? Why must I bemoan in pain when your divine poetry flees my pen? God, you are the divine poet, I am but the specter that has been exile to the realm of words. It is how I found you, in gentle words and thunderous Epics. God of poetry and fairies, what must I become to experience the climax of that freezing November morning?
